Kevin K. Gagnon

Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Kevin K. Gagnon started his musical journey in 1978, playing at every bar, club and concert venue throughout the Windsor/Essex Ontario area, and recording in just about every local recording studio.

Notable artists Kevin has performed with include Joe Konas (The Godz, Jimi Hendrix, Uriah Heep), Stu Heydon (Bobo Jenkins, Wild Child Butler), and the late blues great Michael Bruce. Though Kevin is a highly sought-after studio and live bassist, he picked up guitar along the way to aid in his songwriting and has proven his guitar talents over and over again slinging his six string for the Canadian blues-rock band Kevin & JD (www.kevinandjd.com).

In 2019 Kevin released his first solo album, “It Is What It Is,” the culmination of over four decades as a recording artist. Other recording credits include Kevin & JD, Rick LaBonté, Jeffrey David, Blind Alley and more.

Kevin is a recipient of The Windsor/Essex County Music Appreciation Award and a Hall of Fame Inductee. He releases original music regularly with recording artist Kevin & JD and performs live with local Windsor rockers The Formula.
